Default Winter project (before and after)

Here are two photos of my engine...Before and after. Just a couple minor issues to sort and its back on the road.

Looks slick! It's really damn rewarding to have a spiffy-clean engine bay, isn't it?

what a terrific transformation I hope the engine runs great for a long time.

FWIW the only thing missing is a nice Orange air filter.

NOTE the filter in the first picture was upside down, the hump goes to the sky!

NOTE The KnN wont give you any performance increase,
but may let more dirt into your engine as it has a poor edge seal area,
the filter media is rather porous.

NOTE the oil in the filter may also damage your MAF

It has been a wonderful transformation and a great educational experience to boot. All in thanks to all the great people like you, who point nubes like me in the right direction.

Yes, I picked up the K&N with the idea of a one time purchase...you are correct, it takes a little more effort to make sure it's seated properly. I think people have the tendency to spray too much oil on the filter after cleaning it...in hindsight I should have used the orange ones...installed right side up!
