Thank you everyone for the information. I will most certainly then consider a '94 as well.

'93 -> '94/'95 changes: wheels, rods, RDK delete, cabin air filter, different blower speeds, dynamic kickdown (but auto only).
Connecting rod change was done in middle of real '94 MY meaning US VIN 0080 and some later non M718 option cars still got 1R rods. Only way to know for sure what cars got 2R from factory is to check engine number.

I was going to mention this, but Michael was limiting it to '95 only. Now, . . . . he may accept a '94. If he is not going to mess with the engine, the 1R shouldn't be an issue.

That 94 he has may be exactly what you are looking for!

As others have posted, late-94's are virtually identical to the 95's. However, your user name implies this will be for a collection, and I assume desired future price appreciation to be a factor in your decision. With that in mind, I personally would limit my search to a 95 model, as I believe the last model year will always demand a premium, ceteris paribus.

With patience and perhaps a bit of luck, I'm confident you will find your car.

^^ What Jarrod said.

Is the assumption that this is to be part of a collection the case, or is it going to be driven? The answer to that question has some bearing on what might be your better option now.

Call Garrity at Motorsport in SLC Utah,
he has a few 94 and 95 GTS cars with black paint ,
not sure if the 5 speed is a 94 or 95, I worked on all of them
