Good meeting you all today!
Hayden, maybe instead of replacing the whole vent it would be easier for you to use a panel popper to remove your broken bottom vent, and replace it with the good top vent on the one I gave you? Seems like it would be easier, and you can practice on the broken one on the one I have you first.

Will give it a shot tomorrow....replaced the rear dome light today after a cleaning and tweaking the contacts but it is working perfect....Thank you again for the parts. If you need anything let me know.

A little pre-emptive, but I'll be attending in June when I come back to the States for an R&R.
I may be looking for an avid member to do a little tinkering for me after I head back out to the Stan.

Keep us in the loop! We have a pretty cool group of owners here in vegas.

I did, however, buy all new (used, but mint) leather interior, to include heated sport seats. So, I have to set aside time to swap all that out. I also plan to do a complete overhaul of the front/rear suspension and everything in between. I want to underbody to look better than new. Other than a few gaskets, I have all the big parts.
I also have a spare 89 auto trans that I need to get rebuilt. Anyone know of someone that can do this reasonably? I will have to swap the LSD unit out of the one currently in the car when it comes time to install.
And then I will be installing a newly acquired GT motor that had low miles.
SO... all these parts and so little time. I love tinkering, but at this rate, will take forever. So if there is someone that would like a weekend project, maybe we can work out a deal for some of this.
And, I have a ton of parts.... had to get a storage unit just to house.
When I have a firm date of return, I will drop you a note.
thanks much for writing
