Default A public Thank You

IMHO, the best part of ownership of the 928 is the owners themselves.

I'd like to say a public thank you to Scott Smith! Scott is one of the former owners of my 89 S4. Out of the blue, Scott sent me a PM asking if in fact I owned an 89 S4, black/linen int., with 993 wheels. And I do indeed own that S4. Scott, had a spare set of keys, which he promptly mailed to me. He refused any compensation, for the keys or shipping charges. At times, I'd like to set fire to my S4, but the best part of owning it, is the other owners that have come to my rescue time after time! Y'all know who you are.

Thanks Scott!!!

At times, it's ONLY the guys/gals that you've met and became friends with that are the pleasure in owning these cars.

+1, Joe. I've found 928 owners to be exceptional people. They help me keep hope in my fellow man.

We are finicky owners, but for the vast majority are exceptionally good people!
I love hearing stories like this.

Ahh you have Scott`s car,
I put the carpets into that car about 30 pieces,
as well as replacing some of the harnesses ,

IIRC I spent about 5 days in SanFran working this project.
Scott is a great guy and has a wonderful family

BTW Joe, I was Cars and Coffee in OKC this past weekend. When I saw this beautiful Pantera, I immediately thought of you and the Polecat!

Where at in the city are you located if I may ask?

I love being a 928 owner mainly because of the community. Everyone here has helped out so much and several parts have found their way to my door w/o me opening my wallet. Such an amazing community. Please don't change!!!

Thanks Joe, without this community and forum I couldn't/wouldn't own this car. All the people that provide feedback (Stan, Bill, Denver RMS, Kevin) and our parts vendors will continue to keep the enjoyment and pride of ownership high with the 928 regardless of the $ value.

Joe, couldn't agree more. We bought our 89 S4 November 30th. The Dallas 928 community greeted us so well I convinced the wife we needed another and got the 84 DP a few weeks back. Still don't know how I pulled that one off.

I can't say enough good things about all of the people we've met since joining in.

BTW - Love the Pantera. I just sold my 74 the end of last year.

Stan: it's the same car I drove to the owners convention, when we all hooked up in Denver to drive to Wichita, a few years ago.
