I have only seen 1 driving around, and it was a black one, in Kannapolis, no less, but the driver never fessed up....never seen a red one, or any other for that matter, driving around Charlotte....but I know they are out there....

Haven't seen the red one. I have seen a white S4 (not sure if it was you Lighting) twice. Once at the light for the Walmart on Independence outside the loop and then gave a thumbs up from my blue minivan the other day as it came up to the Weddington Rd/Waxhaw Indian Trail intersection.

Otherwise, yes I don't see many 928s around town even though there are quite a few. I actually see more ferrari's and lamborgini's. Actually amazed how often I see those 2 monikers in Charlotte of all places.

No it was Barry. I actually did see a a red 928 last year and talked to the guy. He was trying to sell it but it looked sharp. I believe it was a guards red s4. Hopefully I will get to see James' new red baby he restored last year driving around one day.

Barry's right. It was probably me. I use it as my daily driver, commuting from Fort Mill to the south Charlotte area. It's funny, for all the time I spend in my car, it seems like every time I happen across another 928 in the Charlotte area I'm driving my wife's minivan...

I may have seen you a few weeks ago on the weekend on 521 in Ballentyne, near Audrey Kale. I was in my Charcoal '85. If not, there is another Red later model 928 running around the south side of Charlotte.

Not sure if that was me or not. I used to see a red S4 in Fort Mill a couple of years ago--I stopped the guy and talked to him once, he had just bought the car. I haven't seen him since so I'm not sure if he gave up on it quickly or just rarely drives it (I do have his phone number somewhere in my cell phone). I don't know of another red one in Charlotte. In any case, nice to meet you.
