Junction Block Purpose

Junction block under center console by radio. Nothing connected to it...
Any one know what's the purpose of it?
This is a view from the drivers side (LHD) through the center console.

My car has spent so much time at Greg's with the door open (during dyno runs, messing with sharktuners, etc.) that he performed a chimectomy, for free. I hate that chime- what's the point? Yeah, no kidding, the door's open. Mkay.
