Default 1994 GTS for sale

Hello
Any interest in a 1994 928 GTS? The car is in Atlanta and is for sale by a private party. Black with gray interior, automatic tranny and has approx. 83,000 miles. the owner does not want to put it on ebay and play with all the shoppers. He found me and we talked about me buying it, I can't afford it now. Any serious buyers give him a call. Alex@678-982-2777

It would greatly limit the "shoppers" to at least post an idea of what he thinks it is worth.....which technically needs to be part of any posting.

Woo hoo another GTS for sale which has inherent oiling consumption problems as per the other thread.
James, it is probably actually worth less then the very brown 928, but the beauty lies on the eyes of the beholder. Or in this case the supplier of oil.

Hello
I have not seen the car, just helping the guy. He didn't know about rennlist, so all you shoppers have at it.
Bilal, I had a 94 gts and it didn't burn any more oil or less than the other 3 928s I've had even with the 220,000 miles I put on it.

I was after a '91 S4, as I didn't want to pay the GTS price premium. I did end up paying part of the premium for a GTS though - I do like the styling changes. It'll be interesting to see what an auto GTS is worth.

I was just messing around. They are great cars, but I still love my 91 GT.

Yes, those were pretty unfounded comments even if just having fun. My '93 has just started to burn some oil, unfortunately I don't drive enough to tell if it is an anomaly or a trend. Used .5 qt last 600 miles. I will install Greg's Provent soon. More to this car, can't tell with the limited details given. '94 should have new rods, worth a consideration. Neither of these issues are a real concern if you don't SC the car. Need details.

Interesting how people want to be given thousands of dollars and not be bothered with any tire kickers even electronic ones. Reminds me of the Napa pilot who wanted to sell his car, but never could be bothered to show it. This Owner could invest $17 in advertising and show up here.

It is well-known that the GTS has oil consumption issues. That doesn't stop them being desirable enough to be worth a considerable premium over an S4.

I would strongly recommend that the owner become a member and advertise here. He'll find a pool of knowledgeable buyers, good advice on what to ask for it, and how to best present his car.

Thank you for parsing.

What are "issues" for some, are not for others.
