Ok took out the ECU to get a good look at it, no name or code or any distinctive characteristic to identify it by.

Anybody recognize it?

So no factory ecu's at all? With a completely generic box and no numbers, plus a MAP sensor, my money's on it being a variant of megasquirt that's been DIY-built.

Are there any connection ports other than the two harness-side ones? (e.g. serial, usb, d-sub etc?)

Oddly, the harness connectors look like Nissan ones (e.g. this one on ebay).

Can you open up the case and look at the board for markings?
