Default Spring is coming.....

Ready for another year of driving.... had a booth at the auto show in the city this past weekend. Felt good to start it up and drive it onto the trailer.

I just had a set of Hoosier R6's mounted to the wheels so i figure what better place to try them on....

I was there, car looked great! My son went running up to it saying he "finally saw a car like mine", he was yelling all the way down the hallway. He went on to say it looked way cooler than the BMW racer that was there.. Nice couple representing the booth too.

There will be no Spring 2014.

We are going to go from -50 straight to 90 degrees and massive flooding as the snow evaporates.

Yep.
We are expecting near 50F temps by Friday. So all the mounds of snow are going to melt and the water has to go some where.

Sublimation.

Vote for it next time laws come up for review. Eliminates flooding when used correctly.

Well, if the snow evaporates (sublimates is the actual term) then it will go directly to vapor and there won't be a flood.

My driveway and yard look worse than the pic MrMerlin posted. I'm not really expecting to get the car out much before May 1.

Not there yet either.

About two feet and a half still on the ground and...
Watching the snow falling. We're suppose to get another 6 inches today!
At least, it is good for skiing...

But driving the 928 is growing up more and more over skiing.

If only we could get a little bit of heat, I would be able to finish what I started in October. Intake removal for a oil filler neck leak.
I might go a bit further and inspect the water pump/PK tensioner as well as I had a small coolant leak there during Winter last year. Nothing at all last Summer. I suspect a gasket problem more than a pump problem. We'll see.

The Hoosiers look great Curt!
Sorry to read you're still getting so much snow Bertrand, but the worst is over.

Glad to hear that Spring is not too far away!
Philadelphia is not that far.

Great car Matt.
I hope to have the chance to see it someday.
