Interesting that he is calling for a new 928 or similar concept. I'm glad he is not calling the Panamera to fill that space.

Its always been fairly obvious that the engineers at Porsche had a lot of love for the 928... but the marketeers did not. They pretty much Me262`ed it...

What could have been had they built more manuals, chose better colours, and built a GT3/RS version...

No matter what they build today it will never be close to what the 928 was. Yes they can builder it faster, stronger, lighter but the feel and personality of these cars is a thing of the past. Just like the 991 is a superior 911 it can never emulate what the air cooled 911's were all about.

Hold onto whatever you have it will show its true colors soon enough.
