C V boot ?

It is not a difficult job, just super messy. I did mine years ago and there is still evidence all over my garage.

A good & satisfying job. I can't bear to pay people for stuff I can do myself.
Kerosene gets the majority of the grease off ; a final rinse with brake cleaner.
And yes , swap left for right when reinstalling.

So here's a question- the later units with the "non-rebuildable" outer bearings/boots.

Do the professionally rebuilt axles have a new boot/new grease in the outer as well? One would think so?
