You'd probably sell it for what you can get because I'm sure you need the money more then I do. Even though I can sell it now I'd much rather have the car then the money in the bank. The value of these cars are going up, especially Stroseks.

Thanks for asking. I simply just wanted to see what people would be willing to pay for it as is. I was curious to know the value and I feel bidders on eBay give a fair idea of market value. I purposely set the reserve high enough for it to stay in my possession.

The values are certainly rising fast but for unmolested low mile desirable cars.

I've owned a few 928's (still got 2.. one a daily driver, and one an ongoing project I'll never get even half my money back out of ), and I can tell you from experience, the way to own 928's is to ignore the money, and just spend until you're happy driving the car, or can't/won't spend more, and then drive drive drive.
The value extracted from a 928 is the enjoyment.. of driving, wrenching, and the community around it. There are a few specific cases of 928's which are currently increasing in value, but your rotting wreck isn't in that category, and neither are my S4's.
I'm curious - you said the Strosek is the second 928 you've owned. Is the other one the parts car you've got? Have you driven a 928?

Nah I just wouldn't get into it thinking I could make money. Wow, what a bashing this car is getting. Basterdized or whatever (and I resemble that comment with my koenig), it is still a 928. Do you love a sibling less because he or she has punctures all over their body and with rings in them? Nah! You learn to live and love them anyways. Other cars on this forum were basterdized with chevy engines or trannies and then some and we drool over them (me included). We are putting down our own cars and because I am in the market for a 1995 F355 I have been visiting the Ferrari chat sites. In one of their threads they blamed themselves for the declining value of the car because of the bashing they did to it (valve jobs, engine out repairs etc). Please don't do the same to this car. End of comment.
