You must not have realized how critical those on Rennlist tend to be when looking at cars for sale especially when it is NOT a running driving car; just driveway art....

the car is for sale on eBay, not Rennlist. I posted that only wanted to address the fact there was one available on the market, what difference does it make if it's mine or someone else's? We're all 928 enthusiast on this site and I was only trying to point out that the car was for sale for the benefit of someone that might be interested in it. I apologize if I've broken some silly rule but all I wanted to do was give everyone on Rennlist the opportunity to check it out.

Personally I dont care, infact I started this particular thread. I was merely chiming in as I saw your other thread post, however to some people rules are rules. Not sure if youll still be in the 928 world after your auction, if so id highly recommend just becoming an actual paid member, there is so much good information to be had by the most knowledgeable 928 owners out there.

I appreciate you starting this tread and taking the time to point me in the right direction. And I'll always be in the "928 world". I admit the Strosek is only the second 928 I've owned but I plan on owning many more in my life time. And thanks for bringing the option of becoming a paid member to my attention. As you said there is so much information available by the most knowledgeable 928 owners out there and I look forward to learning as much as I can about the car that I love.

BTW, those "silly rules" are in the thread titled: NEW VISITOR? Here are some answers to frequently asked questions. and is conveniently located at the very top of page 1 of the 928 forum.
I'm sure even you can find it.

You could just say I'm fishing to see what people out there are willing to pay for it not running and in its current condition. Until now it had been on the back burner while I finished a few other more lucrative projects. I plan on proceeding with the rebuild of this car until I have it finished, no mater how long it takes or how much money it will cost....unless there is that one person out there who wants it more then me and is willing to take over the project.

Because YOU stand to benefit from it's sale. Now that you have identified yourself to this captive audience as the seller (and consequently, since you have seen interest in your car on this site & probably a couple more -you changed your opening bid to what was once the Buy-It-Now price)... the moderators and Internet Brands [site owner] will pay closer attention. Hey amg55, welcome to Rennlist and thanks for re-listing the car with a greater amount of detail. Don't mind most of us ******** (we are many) and enjoy the forum. Grab some of the info and make that car run.

Sorry but this is it too funny....and as driveway art it is really worth next to NOTHING !! Way too many possible issues. and .."no mater how long it takes or how much money it will cost...." is a recipe for financial suicide. Unless you LOVE the car and always wanted a bastardized 928 which is how most people view the widebody fiberglass doda cars it really has little or no added value except possibly to a very, very few potential 928 buyers.
