Nice project - but with all the BAD there is a very deep hole to be filled with much $$$ to bring her back to anywhere near the examples available for similar $ in Europe. As we know it is so easy now to bring in cars from Europe as long as they are 25 years or older.
The parts car adds some value but not much - properly worth $8k max for both cars - I just bought a perfect donor car 87S4 for $4k with perfect engine and interior.
Good luck with the sale - however the car is only worth what someone is prepared to pay.
And for that reason I am out!

The official Strosek S4/GT/GTS price list, parts only. Sorry the price list only show in german, not english. I have been told, cannot confirm if it is true or not, that the molds for the making of the fiberglass/plastic parts are all destroyed in a fire.

IIRC, Fred Opert Racing is the only remaining US distributor/importer of Strosek items... and are still available. And not cheap.

I wonder what you do to actually get insurance that would pay for such a modified car with fiberglass "bumpers" no longer 5 MPH compliant .....especially with the replacement costs very high or possibly no longer available ... ?? It is not a regular S-4 anymore.

I think the factory aluminum 'bumper bar' & 5 mph shocks would still be behind the different designed bumper COVER... just like the factory one is.

Insurance would be like any other rare, out of production models (Ferrari Dino for example)... priced accordingly with repair resources known and/or found with 'hand made' body skin craftsman on that list.

They can list them but its questionable will Strosek make new pieces if they have lost moulds in warehouse fire.

Copy of 800 euro front spoiler can be bought from Holland for under half price.

We have two original Strosek spoilers and will probably get one copy also as its difficult to find ok condition '90-95 factory spoiler at reasonable price.
