If I had the money, I might make an offer on this one and give my honey a Garnet Red 928 for valentine's day-http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-928-...US_Cars_Trucks

I know it needs at least a TB/WP and new fuel lines but I still like it.

928's are like the cats and dogs offered for adoption at Petsmart - I shouldn't look because I just want to take them home...

Looks very nice indeed! Ebay shows 15 people are watching, but no bids as of yet. Starting bid of $6,500 & BIN of $12,500.

Looks like it could be a nice one, 10 years of no driving, but condition reflected in odo. If I were looking at it, I would be talking to the dealer directly and making an offer.

Whats with the pict of the balljoint eccentrics?

Looks pretty nice. That is a splitting image of mine, except mine has the andy keel supercharger. If you have any interest, I would sell right around the Buy it now price of this one.

wow, yup, that's the one I would've wanted...with the exception of a Zyclamrot and/or forced induction type taking priority..nice. Definitely not ready to start back at the front end of the catch-up maintenance again though!

Some nice cars to oogle here, though the steering wheels and instrument pods seem to be installed incorrectly...Here's one w/"Papyrus"?: http://www.danielcurnock.co.uk/forsa..._pd.php?id=213

Did you ever get the supercharger dialed in? I know Pizza said that was all it needed.

My "play cash" account is currently so depleted I can't even hoard parts... Wish I could. I LOVE Garnet Red.

I wonder if there is something in the water in Maryland that stimulates multiple 928 ownership.

I love the interior and Garnet Red. If it was a 5 speed it would be perfect!......besides the differed maintenence.

love it. It is the exact color combo of my old '84. Nice and tempting!
(But I have a non-running old jeep in the driveway right now, so no room for another shark!)

I saw it a few days ago and am one of the watchers...up to 61. I love the exterior/interior color combo. I like both the pre and post "87 body styles. Wish I could have both, but can't. Nice one.

I've been hit on the head with it twice, maybe will have learned by next time, but when a car shows up that is both rare and what you like, buy it and sort out the trouble later.

Too bad about that dash. Glove box lid is warped too. A lot of work to fix it.

No, I haven't yet. You're right, that's all it probably needs (well, maybe a couple more things). But, I have been so occupied with my GTS that I've thought about selling the Pizza mobile.
