Smog/rough running woes!

Car has passed smog easily. Not sure why the double post. Strangely it had a hard start/hunting idle problem again at the shop after sitting for about 20 minutes. Maybe the relays? Think I will check on some new ones today.

Bob:
When Devek was still afloat awhile back, they went completely through my engine replacing everything needed, including injectors (they claimed they had them "rebuilt"), fuel lines, vacuum lines and any valves,
hoses, fuel shut off valve (near throttle valve) that keeps it from dying when throttle is released, cleaned radiator, etc. Just about everything up to an over my VISA limit they could find that made them more cash......oops, I mean that made my car run better. And it did. All the way to Florida where it suffered a wiring fire, the intake runner gaskets, any other possible air leaks I can find, and then I'll make another attempt at the test with the car in 2nd gear since I can pass the 25 mph test but didn't pass the 15 mph test. If it doesn't pass this time, I'll visit the referee, which will give me 2 more years to tear into it before the next test.
I just don't have the time or cash to spend right now since my work car is dead and I have to drive the 928 at night only. Once the registration issue is resolved, I would like to take you up on you offer because I'll have time then to resolve all issues. Either that or I'll simply take the car down to Anaheim and let a pro do it while I enjoy a train ride back up to Silly Con Valley and rebuild my Saab's dead engine. Sometimes that's the less expensive way, since I have to work to support my un-frugal Uncle.
