Default COA Fail becomes COA Success!

No MSRP, no completion date and wrong interior.

The COA for my 90GT showed a MSRP of $52,330, which is only off by about $24K! I corresponded back and forth with PCNA trying to get it corrected. I finally gave up.

For concours events, I made my own using a PowerPoint slide posted here on the forum. It looks exactly like the real thing with the exception of it's unsigned. That, too, could probably be accomplished if I scanned the COA, then cropped, cut and pasted the signature into the slide.

My dad's GTS's COA also has the incorrect interior. Also is missing the MSRP.

I offered to do a COA for ya, Harvey! I knew the PCNA COA is bunk, esp for the early cars.

Why doesn't it show type ID on motor and transmission?

Porsche Cars of Great Britain came through for me!

I now have a production date, correct interior and delivery dealer. Still missing MSRP though. Hopefully my follow-up with PCNA will bear fruit.

Ron-

Here's a start, post up the engine and tranny #s and the options and I can edit. Or I can send you the ppt file if you want to knock it out yourself.

Rob... I like how yours says "Exterior Pain Color/Code"

I actually like your 928's color... feels fine to me.

Wow, thanks guys....

Here is the sticker from the door. I don't know the paint code, or options....it does have the adjustable headlight tilt, and cruise. Original color was silver, with black interior. Mfg date 9/77

Harvey, since it is a Euro -request a COA from Germany (PAG)... then piece the differing data points together into a 'complete' COA & have PCNA redo it with all of the correct info.

(just a thought)

Hey Ron... when are you going to update your car #?

Since they started production with 9288200011... that makes your car #20!

Jumped up a whole 10 points!
