Default Fuel pump whine '87 S4

Friends,

My fuel pump was replaced 6 months ago. Today I noticed a whine buzz inside the car and outside. Fuel level is at over half a tank.

What's up with that?

Thanks, Josh

was the internal tank and external filters replaced same time as the pump?

was the new pump sourced through our big 3 suppliers?

The fuel pump and filter bracket is normally suspended by rubber mounts. Check to see if any of the pump assembly or lines are touching causing vibration/noise.

I used a little Marvel Mystery Oil in the fuel just one tank and the buzz went away and didn't return in 2 years.
