For $4500, its far better than a lot of the earlier cars for $2000 that are sitting in a field needing everything. Interior looks great without a cracked dash. Only non original part is the radio and those boom boxes on the door panels. Even has the early NLA rear hatch cover. 5- spd as well without sunroof.
If you are a DIY person, all you need is a new set of tires and go through the fuel system and electrics and you could have a nice early car. Paint at a later time. No need to panic about the timing belt either. Run it until it leaves you stranded, then replace

If only I had a never ending supply of money - someone needs to be all over this one as well.

How would someone ship a car like this from California to the mid-west? I assume most carriers can't do an immediate pick-up so it would presumably have to sit a few weeks?

He sent me a zip file of better pics and they are speakers that were pretty popular back in the day. Can't remember what they are called. They are definitely not flush mount.

when the add says "needs battery " it mean the car does NOT START AND RUN....as far as shipping it typically only takes a few day to get a pickup however they charge extra for cars which do not run. The truckers schedule depends on where the big auctions are taking place as that is a large part of the business moving to and from the B J , Meccum etc.

very nice, and a very good price. It looks like Jim's 78 euro that he recently sold. Love the interior. Anyone wanting to get into an early model should jump on this one, especially at that price.

JB makes a fair caveat people. This car does not run or drive. As such, you risk drivetrain issues you can't verify. I'd like to share in the general sentiment because it looks like a good one with alot of potential. However, I'd suggest some due dilligence in the form of a PPI before jumping in at $4500.
