Default Seat belt rose

Team,

I have searched the forums to no avail as to the best way to attach these, as the old ones were long missing when I bought her, Inspection shows remnants of staples still in the old leather so Im assuming I need these, does anyone have a picture of the back side for comparison or knows how to do this?

I put the rosette on the panel and bent the 'tabs' then used a heat gun to form the bend tight to backside. Then I used a weatherstrip adhesive to glue.

I used a regular office stapler, but have to be careful not to staple all the way through the leather.

The factory staples are 3mm (length of the "legs").

If you can't find them (or don't have an air stapler to shoot them) then just use some contact adhesive, so you don't staple through the panel.

I used a combination of all the methods above. Heat gun to bend the tabs to stay put, glued, and made sure they wouldn't let go again by putting just a few staples in. I already had stainless staples I'd got for other areas of leather, and the front and rear bumper trim.
