Thanks! I had to replace the engine from an 86 S2 (4.7 310bhp) so we know that is non matching. Will try and find the trans number. Great to see all the options

hi Rob
can you check WP0ZZZ92ZHS841305, potential for a folding rear spoiler?

and WF0ZZZ9ZZRS800577, not a fan of wood inserts in a 928, looks good on old British Rolls, Jag's etc, but not 928's

cheetrs

This is the 1243rd '87 in the ROW market, not sure whether it would be a folding wing car or not.

WF0ZZZ9ZZRS800577

Doublecheck that the info below is for the correct car, there were 2 digits off in your VIN. Doesn't look like this car originally the rootwood options. If it has factory rootwood pieces now, you don't like them, and would be willing to sell, I'll be a willing buyer!

I don't think so (?), for 2 reasons- 1) I don't think they ever made a factory 'H' piece that fits around the HVAC controls in rootwood, and 2) the door panel inserts are all wood, while the factory pieces had a vinyl or leather insert on the wood piece, like so:

I also can't tell whether the veneer pattern wraps completely over the shifter surround piece, or if it's just covering the upper surface.

On the other hand, the finish on those door inserts is cracking the way the real ones do, so maybe it's the real deal (?) Let me know if you buy the car, would be interested to see more detail.

I think it is a folding rear S4, because the four CS preproduction for the pilots do have this wing and were produced later.

can you decipher this? Multiple angles of the option plate…hard to read
