You could lightly "dust" a charcoal or carbon powder ( the kind you get to stop door hinges squeaking) over it, that may just fill the "pin holes" enough to reveal the codes, use a very soft camera lense brush, unless you know a policeman with a fingerprint kit

Or use a large tipped pencil to gently, very lightly, go over the area, which should give the same result.

M418 is the option code for rubstrips, if it's not listed the car didn't get 'em at the factory. No code for deleting them.
