Any idea where this car was first sold? May help nail down the radio
I330- Either a Blaupunkt Torotno SQR46, or a Blaupunkt Atlanta SQR23, not entirely sure, and the C99 market thing makes it tough to know. The date ranges listed for these Blau models are variable from source to source.
Is the original amp still present? If so I'd be interested in knowing which one it is.

Despite efforts to track down some history on this car Ive got very little info. Ill give Porsche another call and see if they have point of sale info.
Amp is a Blaupunkt Quadro Booster BQB 80. 8 speaker system.

To follow up. Porsche NA was unable to provide any additional info other than COA info. The carfax report indicates the car was sold to the first owner (with 239 miles) in '85 in Houston, TX. Then in '91 the car moved to Rough and Ready, California (N of Sacramento), then on to Napa, Mission Viejo, and has been in the OC since. More research for me to do on the C99 market code and its meaning. Thanks for your help, the saga continues, but perhaps on another thread.

That link takes me to a '91 BMW 850. June '79 would have been very late '79 production. Highest Euro VIN in '79 was 3059, so 2561 would be late production. Must have been early June (?)

Highly unlikely at best.
The "S" didn't appear until MY 80. My understanding is that they shut down in late June to retool for the next year. So this is almost certainly a MY 79.
If Rob doesn't have the VIN info, then again, almost certainly a MY 79.
Easy check is the engine number. Euro S have the M28/11 & 12 (11 is five speed 12 is auto).
OTOH, a grey market 79 Euro is a reasonably rare car. But "worth anything once done" is a very iffy proposition. Depends on what it needs and how much time and effort you are willing to put into it.
If you have pics, start a new thread on it. You will get a lot of opinions on it. Some of them might actually be worth listening to.
