It's the 19th ROW GTS off the line, the 1st Japanese market GTS, and the 8th ROW GTS 5-speed. No idea when they started building the early '93 US model GTSs, would be interesting to compare build dates on this car vs. an early early-'93.

Another XX8 car! And a bit of a stripper 5-speed. Very cool.

My understanding is that the first 12 GTS's had the XX8 designation even though it was redundant given the "Wide Body" treatment of all GTS's.

So this must be one of the first 12, the 1st Japanese GTS, and the 8th ROW 5-speed. Good thing it has a sunroof and does not have sport seats or I'd be in trouble with lust! ;-)

It is Polar Silver over Magenta with deviating grey piping on the seats and no rub rails - so as is, it is a very desirable car.

Ah yes, had managed to forget about that. Actually it's a little spottier- The first 9 ROW cars have IXX8, then 2 that don't, then 1 that does, then 3 that don't, then 1 more, which is the car we're talking about. So it's the last of the IXX8 designates.

Overall, there are 91 cars with IXX8. 1 US '91GT, 34 German market cars - 25 '91 and 9 '92s, the 50 Japanese '91s, 1 Japanese '92, and then 1 British, 1 RHD Japanese, 1 Belgian, and 2 South African early '92s.
