Yes, the thermostat housing has been shortened. Good eyes. It was shortened to provide more room for the cold air inlet to the supercharger.

Yes, the shortened thermostat housing is included in the kit.

There are 4 fans also included in this Stage III kit (not one). Three pullers and one pusher. I think all you can see in the pictures I have posted is the pusher through the air-to-water intercooler radiator. Not only did we dyno test this kit (multiple times), but I spent hours in stop-and-go traffic in Milwaukee checking to be sure it had no overheating issues. It doesn't.

This kit can be raced, but it is designed and intended to be street driven.

You tested it in Milwaukee? For overheating? In Milwaukee. I'm gobsmacked. I've been to Milwaukee in the summer. What you call hot, we in Phoenix call starting to get warm. It's not "hot" until its above 110.

By the way, in the interest of science, would you like someone to test your kit in Phoenix? I'm sure something could be arranged.

I'm game! When and where?

Turbos make more power and the cars overall faster. However, until this kit, turbos were more expensive. This kit has a price close to the complete Kuhn TT kit and hp not too far off either. It would be an interesting experiment to test the cars and see where the dollar goes the furthest.

Yes, Milwaukee. Its what I have. Our Stage II kits have no history of over-heating in the field, and I added a 3rd fan to this kit just because... so I am really not expecting this to be an issue.

Here is a pic from this summer with this kit.

Here we are running errands and picking up parts in the 91 GT. Just putting as many miles on the kit as we could to make sure the design was good. Checking for belt slip, over-heating, smooth idle - things like that.

This old girl has 208,000 miles on her, stock rods, pistons, cams. She got new head gaskets at about 160,000 miles (coolant leak) but that's it.

The only thing I noticed after the Stage III kit went in is the rear tires don't seem to last as long...
