The only wiring I've seen like that was on Jim Doerr's really early 928's, where the harness was painted with the stripes like that.

Also - you need to post the VIN number to determine exactly which variety of 928 you have. In '84, the "Euro" (everywhere but USA) models had *very* different fuel injection to the US cars, and correspondingly very different wiring harnesses. And there's a good chance your car isn't actually an '84 by VIN number.

Like Wally said probably the connection to the hood switch. It is mounted to the inside of the fender in the middle of the engine bay, passenger side.

Thnx !! Ill post some more pictures when the weather turns up better ..its crazy bad weather here now..
The car was from a young guy who didn't have any knowladge about cars. I just finished working on my old Opel GT "72 and sold it , so now i bought this Shark from that guy.

He tried to make it work again but in a very bad way, i have solved many elektrical problems already like headlights motor, some relays, interior lights, alarm module, backdoorlock, whippers etc etc.

Only thing left now is the central warning system (code:928 641 602.01) all the dash lights turn on but after starting only the ABS light turns off, the rest all stays on...

Already took apart the module cleanded it checked out the pcb and connectors but no go unfortunatly.
