How to remove '89 rear speakers

I have a, new to me, '89. I have been working through several fixes. The current work is on the speakers. This has the 10 speaker system.
I recently fixed a problem with the power amp clicking on and off and blowing the radio fuse. There were 3 leaking electrolytic capacitors, I reblace them and then the stereo worked fine. Except for the speakers.
The foam is badly deteriorated. I found re-foam kits from Springfield Speakers for both the 6in and the 4in speakers.
The 6in speakers at the back seats came out easily. The 4in speakers in the rear quarter panel are not obvious as to how they come out.
I have removed the grills and the 4 screws. The speakers will not lift up or rotate.
Is there an easy way to get them out? If not, I will just do the re-foam with them in the car. But I think it would be easier to do the re-foam, if I could remove them.
I have searched and have not found anything that tells me anything about removing the speakers from the rear quarters for the '89 model.
Thanks in advance for any help.

They pop right out; just reformed mine last week. Likely stuck to the vinyl after all these years. Also, make sure the speaker wires are not preventing it from lifting.

Thanks for your help. I went back out and gently pried on an edge and they did pop out. The back of the magnet was stuck to the insulation...
They are out now and I will re-foam them.
Thanks,
Ken

I think it depends on the year. For the 89, they do.
I think earlier years may twist or thread off, I'm not sure.
For my 89, someone had mentioned that a paint can opener with the little hook shape on the end works well. I went to Home Depot and picked one up. It did work really well. My grills did have some hairline cracks. Probably from having been removed before or just age. If they pry off, there should be little slots every 120 deg, where the tool fits in. On the 6in woofer there was only one slot. It probably also helps if it is not really cold, making the plastic more rigid.

'87 and '88's screw-on, and '89+ clip-on.
I bought a set of automotive pics at O'Reilly auto parts (straight, 45 degree, 90 degree, and a curled tip). I gently warmed-up the grille with a hair dryer, but be careful not to heat too much without protecting the vinyl surrounding the speaker. Then use the pic to feel around the grille and locate the 3 clips and gently wedge the pic to release the grille.
