It would be so nice to drive a 928 to breakfast, walk on grass, go outside without 6 layers on; we'll be shovelling snow in -20 frigid weather.

Need an app for a virtual gathering........webcams?

Malcolm - its nice to have friends to the North but tell me again ... why do you live there?

The lawn crew just finished the house next door and I'm outside prepping the Jeep for sale this weekend.

Hope the doctor has given you a clean bill of health for 2014!

thx Andy, my health is a work in progress with lots of help from professionals and family with matters improving greatly. Gotta get another +20 years outta this old machine

We couldn't live where you are in the summer so we survive the brutal winters and then enjoy moderate spring, summer and autumns.........just wish winter wasn't so damn long

Can someone upload a menu from the breakfast location then we can prepare similar and join in virtually?........cheers

8am/8:30am until whenever. Shorter time spent outside when it's cold and windy, wet, or over 100.

See you tomorrow

That's 10 Pacific time!

I have attached a picture of you at a previous GTG. Now exactly what were you saying about me?

Its -16c with fresh snow so we decide to have our event indoors........we had bacon, egg and trimmings with lashings of coffee with the 928 model occupying pride of space on the table.

(was just reminded that it was turkey bacon, poached egg and the trimmings was spinach for us heart healthy folks)

Now we have Canada playing hockey in the world Junior Championships.

Great to see the fantastic turnout

Malcolm - it's going to be 65 degrees in DFW today but a cold front moves in tonight. We had a really good turnout this morning - even Chuck and Sterling joined us. Good to meet the newcomer, Jim Thompson aka RedRaider1. Hopefully his wife, Brenda will join us next month.

I enjoyed seeing everyone.. but the food... well it sucked. Orignally I ordered eggs bendict... but the sauce tasted like sour mayonayse... up puke.... so they offereed to replace it... so I ordered an omlet.... it arrived half cooked.... note to self.. never order food you plan on eating at a bar..... great company but I'd rather drive 60 miles round trip to arlington for the food there,,, IJS if we keep having the meetings here.. I won't get out of bed this early on a Saturday... ever.... nasty.....

Last time I went to Jake's for breakfast I got a short stack of regular pancakes, two side of Bacon and lots of extra butter. Figured that with enough butter, bacon, and syrup it didn't matter how good or bad the pancakes were.
