Guys,
I am currently away from the car and need to purchase this coolant hose.

May I ask the diameter and the length of this small coolant hose from the top of the expansion tank to under the oil cap please?

8mm or 5/16" on US cars. I substituted generic fuel injection hose for this duty with good results..

Kevin, the hose you've got arrows on runs from the expansion tank to the coolant bridge - its a factory special item, with different diameters at each end. Save yourself the headache and just order the correct hose, as the end of it at the coolant bridge is about a 12mm ID.

The only coolant hoses you can substitute for the 5/16" Dr Bob mentions on a RHD car like yours is the one between the expansion tank and the coolant pressure sensor - i.e. about an 8cm length.

Also, if that hose has failed on your car, then you should be replacing all the coolant hoses while you're at it.

Hi Mr. Hilton, you are correct and in fact the hose has different diameters at each end.
I will order the correct parts from Roger. Thanks for the advice.
