Windshield/Headlight Washer Pump Access
I want to check the washer pump for my headlamps (windshield one is working fine), and so was thinking about pulling out the pump unit to check with the multimeter. However, its a bit hard to get to.
I have the right front wheel off and have removed the wheel housing liner, so I can see the unit, but not sure the best way to get to the pumps at the bottom without removing the quarter panel. Any thoughts?

When I did mine I just removed the clamp that holds the entire reservoir in place and the pump (for headlight) is horizontally placed using a clamp as well. As you are in there you may want to remove the steel ring from the filler tube, which corrodes and plugs everything. In fact, that might be what is causing you trouble. Blow the lines and use a needle to remove crud from the nozzles.
Edit: I had my spoiler off at the time and my front wheels on a ramp. BTW I've never put the spoiler back after that because of every time I need to something, I realize that without it, is much easier

Thanks for the tip. I was wondering if I could remove the washer canister bracket just on the accessible wheel side to get to the tank, but wasn't sure if that was possible. I'll try your suggrstions.

Burning Brakes
It is possible to remove the clamp bolt and slide the bottle out. Just had to do it to remove the damaged fender on mine.
If you are in there, I would suggest taking the pumps off and cleaning them as well as the water level sensor.
I was amazed at the gunk in mine.

FIXED! Didn't need a new pump or anything. Just did a good tank and pump clean, reinstalled it all and it is all working.
However, it may have helped if I checked the fuse box first. A 7.5 fuse previously installed does not equal a 25 fuse!
Oh, well! All spraying now, I learned a lot, and thank you for the help!
