Default Cluster repair

I have replaced my original cluster with one in better shape and now I am trying to repair my original one
The tab on right side has broken it appears that the PO tried a glue repair. Is there any type of adhesive that works on this material?

Happy New Year everyone

Vanster, I have been using a product called 'Q-Bond'. It is a powder and crazyglue concoction that bonds plastics (and aluminum but have not tried it yet) very well. If you have the other piece you would place the piece (under some wax paper) pour some of the powder along break, put the pieces together (powder should be between) then drop the crazy glue stuff along break. It will bond instantly and permantly. I have used this on the plastic speaker rings (one was broken in four pieces) and it is still on car after a year. It is also able to be turned off still.

Great
Thanks. I will give it a go. I have heard of Q bond but never tried it. It appears that the cluster "chassis" is made from ABS and as we know not a lot of glues or resin stick to it

I've been using the Loctite Epoxy Plastic Bonder. It seems to work pretty well. I just used it on my cracked b-pillar speaker covers and it held really well.

Q Bond works well, especially if you grind a little grove over the crack to help contain the powder and glue.

Plastic welded also works decent on ABS. Good luck!

For ABS all you need is acetone and a small metal handled brush.
