Default Retrofitting Parcel Shelf?

Hi all,

Can you retrofit the Parcel Shelf (928 552 117 02) that came on 1982+ 928's to an earlier car? It's a nice finishing touch that I actually would enjoy using. The passenger side one is nice and the driver's side one would be nice too.

I tell you who to ask... Jim Doerr at 928 Classics... He knows these early cars better than anyone and can probably give you some ideas on your retrofit.

Or talk to 928 Intl, who can give you all the parts you need for the retrofit.

The console side covers on my '89 car have cutouts for the rear ('rear' is towards rear of the car...) angle brakets that hold the trays. Guessing all the rest of the little fitment pieces can be had.
