UWE GEMBALLA was murdered in South Africa.
On the fourth day of October 2010 a Swedish newspaper wrote the following. Google has made the translation.
Åke

Car tuner Uwe Gemballa has been found dead in South Africa.
The remains of what is believed to be the German businessman have been found west of Pretoria.
The data comes from German Stern.de. The South African police say they found a body wrapped in plastic south of Pretoria. According to Stern.de, the South African police have confirmed that this is Uwe Gemballa. The British Sunday Times reports that Gemballa has been shot.
Uwe Gemballa's car tuning company, which bears his name, became a reputable tuner over the years. Gemballa rebuilt and tuned cars and worked with Porsche as a raw material for 30 years. More recently, his business was hit by poor economy. Gemballa was attracted to move parts of the production to South Africa by a former customer.
New company
In December, Gemballa registered a new company, which took over ownership of the tuning company and offices worldwide, shortly before the disappearance. In the new company, Uwe Gemballa's mother is the only shareholder.
In February, he flew to South Africa in what appears to be a final attempt to save the company. Shortly after arriving in South Africa, his wife received a message in English that Gemballa needed a quick million dollars. Then it became quiet.
That same month, Uwe Gemballa was reported missing. Shortly thereafter, reports came that the German authorities had seized everything of value in Gemballa's company. Then his wife filed for bankruptcy.
Old dispute
Gemballa is also said to have had an old dispute with a former customer, the Czech criminal living in South Africa and the billionaire Radovan Krejcir, who had stayed away from extradition to Prague for several years.
A former business partner to Krejcir, Juan Meyer, has testified to police that Gemballa would have been attracted to South Africa with promises of importing cars and assistance with production. The offer also included black money, according to Meyer. Somewhere along the way a dispute arose between Krejcir and Gemballa which should have led to the tuner´s death.
According to The Sunday Times, the discovery of Gemballa's body could blow up an international syndicate stretching from Switzerland and Germany to Johannesburg. The syndicate is alleged to be involved in money laundering, tax evasion, imported cars filled with cash and order killings.
Filmed at the airport
Surveillance cameras at Johannesburg airport took pictures of the tuner when he was met by a bright-skinned man in February. The pictures are believed to be the last on Gemballa in life.
In the middle of last week, Uwe Gemballa was found dead, wrapped in plastic.
