LED Replacement
Yup there's direct socketed LED replacement for those 1.2W bulbs.
I bought a handful on eBay. Don't have notes with me on the code for that base but someone here will or you can do a search for "LED" AND "pod" or similar (is it BS92?)
I didn't bother using themin the end as my originals are pretty bright and the important thing was to change blown/dim 3W pod illumination bulbs in the wedge sockets (stuck to incandescent for those). You have to insert LED replacements with correct polarity

Depends on the year, as there are different bases. Had you done a simple search on "LED", you would have found a couple of threads that would have lead you to http://www.superbrightleds.com/cat/i...cluster-gauge/., where you could have then found bulb base descriptions that would help you choose the right bulb/base for your application, which in your photo is a B8.5D on their web site. Hope this helps.

Ed Sherer's write up is wonderful, only as he says it does not apply to us "old guys"
only later clusters.
