Armor All is apparently a controversial subject around here.
I've been using it for decades on various cars, and I can tell you from experience that there is nothing wrong with this product!
Two points:
1. It should not be used on leather. It contains alcohols which will dry the leather. Lexol or other good leather cleaner is a much better idea.
2. If you use Armor All on a surface, you have to be prepared to continue to use it. If you stop using it, then the surface has a tendency to dry out even quicker. It is "addictive" in this regard.
Most of my interior is leather, but my uncracked pod, the tires, spoilers, and non-metal things under the hood get a good and regular coating.
I have been more than pleased with http://www.leatherique.com/ and the times I have called them for advice, they have been friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
What about the Meguiar's vinyl protectant wipes? Any consensus there? I tried them for the first time the other day and the results were stunning on both the wing and the dash, but I don't know about long term effects.
