To the OP:

Read the above. Then read it again.

You are leaking raw gasoline a couple of inches from your ignition wires and a few inches above your exhaust manifolds.

If your spark plug wires or boots are old (as in haven't been replaced recently) they may arc.

Once the car has been run more than a few minutes, the exhaust manifolds will get hot. Hot enough to ignite the leaking gas that is dripping down past them.

Gas leaks in the engine compartment are very dangerous. Not just to your car.
