By VIN, the car is a 79 US model...an early one
My 79 US was 1366...this one is 0054
and manuf. in late half of 78

 

Buy it , Matt! Now that you're so far along with the RS project, you need to start thinking about your next project. What better than restoration of an early car?

 

I wanted the next project to be a 32V 5-speed with GTS flares
body color white w/ Martini Racing livery.

 

I would restore that car if the frame is straight.

Yep, It is a no sunroof car. As Matt has mentioned, I emailed the seller a few times looking to get parts off this. I strongly suspect its a non runner (of course). I also suspect that the driver side has issues but this is just a supposition based on the lack of photos. He offered it at $1500. It is not much different that the 79 I picked up in August for $650.00 I offered a number under 1g. He is not interested in that number at this point. It has nice "presence". Hope it gets picked up and saved
