Congratulations on a nice looking car that was owned and maintained by a meticulous 928 fan. This car should provide you lots of enjoyable service, and you have a quick "what do I do" contact as well. Most of us aren't that fortunate!!!

I sold an '89 with 130+ K on the odo last summer, after driving it for 6+ years. I really like the '89 models. I had a 930 steering wheel on it as well. A great upgrade whenever you are ready to make some modest changes.

Hope you'll join 928 Owners Club as well as posting frequently here on Rennlist.

I agree, very lucky.

Thank you all for all of the comments. I'll be here frequently going forward and look forward to getting to know everyone.

I'm aware of the gotchas related to Porsches. This one makes three. We also currently have a 997 turbo and a 2006 Cayenne Turbo. Like the 928 the 911 and the Cayenne have known weaknesses that once addressed usually do not cause future problems (ie coolant pipe failure). I learned that one first hand.

Doing some general cleaning/detailing today to get to know the car better. Wish it was sunny outside today.

Latest pic makes the 911 look tiny.

Welcome RedRaider wonderful car and glad she is staying in DFW. See you Saturday.

I wonder how long before the 911 gets sold for lack of use now you have a real Porsche!!!! 8>)

Loving the car more and more as time goes by. Why didn't I do this earlier?

Spent some time working on it today and made the wife pose for a shot as she walked by.

And so it begins

I just placed my first order with Roger and setup time with Sean to install the following.

New ignition wire set
New spark plugs
New fuel lines
X Pipe
Change Oil / filter
Change tranny fluid / filter
Install PKlamp
Possibly replace transmission lines

Could not be happier with my experience since purchasing the car and meeting everyone.

LOL, I guess I asked for that one by not noticing it ahead of time.

The design on the shirt doesn't really look that prevalent in person. Although the funny thing is the shirt is from the Susan G Komen foundation to promote awareness.

Dam the luck. One of my reps had a meeting with a large account come up with short notice and needed my support. Plane fare didn't make sense so I got to drive the S4 from Dallas to Houston on Wednesday afternoon. The car ran flawlessly and the passport max saved my A$$ more then once .

What a great time getting the car out on the highway for an extended drive doing what it was designed to do. Can't wait to get back in it tomorrow afternoon after my last meeting for the return drive home.
