Radiator Screen
So I decided to pull my A/C system out (Compressor, condenser, receiver/dryer) and realized that in doing so, i was removing the support for the A/T cooler at the front. The cooler mounts to the condenser with rubber mounting points at either side.
So i decided to do two things: A: Create a new support for the A/T cooler. B: Also use this cooler to make a protective screen for the radiator.
I was inspired to make the screen by this DIY project thread: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...oling-radiator
Anyways, i made it so that the screen could be un-bolted and replaced if it became too damaged, and all the materials to make it were bought at Lowe's and Ace hardware. Sorry my pictures may not have come out as great as they could have (poor lighting)

I would have posted more details on measurement and methods but I pretty much just made it and put it in, I was pretty eager to get things done.

I've used the aluminum screening for doors/windows in front of my AC condenser and radiator for years. Grew up in the great plains where BUGS were constantly crashing into the radiator fins, so this was a solution to reduce the reduced air flow from pluggage. Just pull the screen up, shake off the bug carcasses and put it back.
Crashing insects are not as big a problem here in the mid-atlantic area, but once I've pulled a radiator to clean it throughly for airflow, I always protect it from re-plugging. Never had a 928 over the past 14 years that overheated!
