Dear Fellow 928ers,

I'm buying the Master and Slave Cylinder units for my 1986.5 Clutch. I found this as NOS Master Clutch Cylinder (hopefully, the picture is attached).
This looks like no Master Clutch Cylinder I've seen. Looks like a brake cylinder. Anyway It's a good deal, advertise as NOS; but, I'm not buying until somebody on the forum tells me if it's an NOS Clutch Master that will fit my 86.5.

What's the part number of the advertised piece?

 

You might consider getting a part from someone like Mark Anderson At 928 Int'l or Roger Tyson at 928sRUs. Either of those guys will get you the right part for your car.

Or you can put your faith in God and it might just work out for you... or not.

 

The only part of this that will fit on a 928 is the clamp.

Thanks, I do plan on going with 928International or 928sRUS; but, I was buying some headlights for another car (Volvo - bought Sylvania ORAM's -awesome lights by the way) and I couldn't resist the devil's urge to "do" a "search." You've all been there, done that ..and got burnt (like I have).
