Hah! Well, I had my stick out in the yard today...
I used to be a surfer. I lived in my parent's beachfront place in Fort Pierce for a while, and did a bit of riding my stick [surfboard] between drinking beer, driving my turbocharged Scirocco, and hunting lobster.
The surfboard was a tank that I still have. Single fin thruster, it does nothing fast, but it is still functional and makes a great wall decoration....sans fin of course.
It has been covered for years in working Sex Wax. I finally decided, since I was painting the wall it was mounted on, to de-wax/clean the poor thing.
To remove the wax, I set in the front yard. Florida sun- any questions?
OK. 30 minutes later, after answering all the questions of the kids who were skateboarding in front of my house, I finally managed to scrape it down with a plastic scraper and paper towels. It's shiny clean now, but I'd never try to stand on it at Sebastian Inlet!
It all made me wonder though. My rear tends to be tight-
[I won't go into this- do realize for once I am talking about my car-]
But my front clip is a bit wavy. Nothing that would annoy me, but being as aesthetic-minded as I am, it bothers me. I wonder if I took the front clip off and let it percolate in the front yard for a day or two if it would make it fit better-
Normy!
