Beautiful OB on ebay.

I would love to buy this car but it's on the wrong coast, and after talking to the seller the miles can't be confirmed. I should qualify that and say can't be confirmed to my uneducated mind. The guy seems very forthcoming but service history neither disputes nor verify the mileage claim. Wouldn't the speedo and odometer need to have been changed out when the car was federalized? There are no records for that, so I guess you rely on looks.
On top of that this would be my first Porsche and i'm scared by the unknow of a car that isn't drivable. Also seller seems reluctant to help with a PPI.
Oh well back to my Mercedes habit.

Very different colors. Cassisrot is somewhat understated and feminine. Guards red is pretty bold. One is metallic, the other is solid base.

She is very much aware of the differences between the two colors. All I need is the money to buy it, the room to store it and the time to work on it. Minor details.

This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing.
Plus I haven't bought a lift yet and sealing the floor will have to wait for a warm spell or the spring.
My 928 no longer lives in a storage facility and is merely 35 feet away. Is the fact that I sometimes go out to the garage to just look at it a sign that I need professional help?

When you say the car "isn't driveable", do you mean the engine doesn't run or that the vehicle won't move under its own power?

More than likely it was sold outside of ebay, and he pulled the listing so that he didn't have to eat the fees.
