Default 89 Gemballa 928 for James Bond ?? : )

I've been addicted to this site since they have so many strange/cool 928s for sale there

This one, I like the front side ( reminds me of my old 944 .. why did I ever sell the car...) but not sure about the rear since it looks too busy for my taste.
But the most interesting thing is the group of buttons on steering wheel.
I am sure those are for missiles, smoke, seat ejection etc etc

The inside looks nice but the outside is overdone in my opinion and not attractive at all. I hate what they did to the headlights. James Bond wouldn't get caught dead in it, perhaps Jackie Chan?

I never liked Gemballa's exterior conversions, but I think his interiors are pretty neat...

Where in Germany is Gambella and how much were their body conversions?

I don't care for this conversion at all, and I do not like it when a wing update is done and they leave the S wing on....yuk!

Even worse, this one is not the original S wing.....yuk-yuk!

Over time there were two Gemballa (http://www.gemballa.com) companies. The first one was in the 80ies, then went bankrupt, and Uwe Gemballa supposedly fled the country because of tax liabilities. He eventually returned.

I always loved Gemballa's interior work - great style and perfect craftsmanship. Their exteriors have always been on the extreme side, which is not my style.

Similarly with TechArt (http://www.techart.de), I really like their interiors, but at least the exterior parts I've seen for the 928 are not my style. They break up the soft lines of the car...

Both companies are located in Leonberg, just outside of Stuttgart.

Does anyone have a link to the pictures of TechArt 928s ?
I couldn't find any on their website.
The 996 Turbo conversion (for sale on their site) looks great,...$135.000

The headlights layout reminds me of an S4 that is currently for sale in Germany. I have heard it might have been done at the factory.
