Interesting ODO???
There is an '82 5sp for sale on ebay

At first blush it looks decent. The mileage is claimed to be 109k
but if you read the AutoCheck it shows being inspected in 1995 with over 180k. After very close examination it appears that the steering wheel has been mounted upside down. This explains it all ...
the ODO is running in reverse.

The front wheels in one of the pic are clearly turned. It could be as simple as that.
We have read of lots of cars where the OD's have run amuck due to the plastic gears being broken or missing teeth. Go VDO!
I wouldn't count it out as the owner just selling it as is.
A PPI, including a compression test should be performed before any purchase.

WP0JA092XCS822190 for ref, seems like a LONG time since it was a driver, ala 1999 last FL record. Price is solid into the must do inspection before bidding range.

What I noticed was the seller is claiming it has 109,000 and when last inspected in 1995 the mileage was 118,000. Now 18 years later it shows 109,000
Am I missing something?
