My 1988 Porsche 928 S4 for sale near San Francisco
$11,500 firm.
1988 928 S4 with 111k miles. Interior is great: seats are all in excellent shape. Fronts were redone professionally a few years ago and look excellent. The rears are original and nearly flawless. Runs perfectly, idles smooth. Automatic. Body is totally straight and no accidents I am aware of. It drives fantastic! I just had a second baby and I just don't have time for my "toys" anymore. I've owned the car for around 2 years and it has been a great experience.
Work I did:
Fixed passenger seat switch
Replaced one radiator end cap as it was cracked and leaking.
Replaced coolant tank
Replaced master cylinder. Brakes now work excellent with no sponginess.
Replaced washer tank
4 new tires less than 500 miles ago
Replaced tie rod ends and had full alignment
Alpine stereo with XM
High flow stainless rear muffler installed, made by Constantine I believe. I have the stock muffler also.
Windows tinted.
Timing belt done at 97,000 miles. Gates belt installed. PorKen tensioner installed (never need to tension belt again). Also has the P-Clamp installed.
I had the electronic Bosch Hammer test run on the whole car and everything passed.
Only issues I am aware of:
Electric rear hatch opener does not work. Very common in these cars. Makes noise but does not pop. Opens fine with the key
One horn needs to be reaffixed. I saw the bracket broke some time ago and I just temporarily tie wrapped it until I could fix it properly.
Crack in dash (pictured)

This is from when I bought the car. Looks the same. Ignore the seat switch pics at the end.
Silly "running over the camera" video I did:
In the SF, CA area. $11,500 firm. Let me know if you are interested.

First off, GLWS. Looks pretty nice. I'll be in SF in two weeks if anyone here wants an independent eye on it.
But fix yer damn hatch release! Takes 5 minutes and two nickels, most likely. Loosen the bolts on the male side, insert two coins (nickels for me) between the plate and the body, tighten it up, test it out. If that fails, you might also/otherwise need the receiver liner from Roger ($35 shipped I think). Worth it.

Never mind Kevin. Sorry, I have a shot at a local '89.
My apologies.
Kevin can you point me to some Engine Bay pics?
I would like to talk with you. This is the car and color combination I am looking for.
@Courtshark thanks for the gesture and safe travels.
See you on the East side sometimes. I'll settle on that beer.
Thanks,
Daymon

Thanks for the advice all. I will look into fixing that latch. The problem is I don't have 5 minutes to work on the car these days with two kids under 2 yrs old.
I guess my membership lapsed. I will upgrade.
Engine bay pics coming soon.

The black piping on your seats is a niche touch. Overall, this is a very nice example of the 928S4, and I hope it will find a good home. The price is very attractive, in my opinion. GLWS!

Still for sale. I've had some tire kickers but nobody serious. Let me know if you are interested. I am moving in around a month and I'd like to have it sold by then.

I got a deposit on the car yesterday, so it is almost-sold. I'll post again if the buyer follows thru. Seems like a solid guy so I suspect he will.
I have very mixed feelings about selling this car. I have really loved it but I just don't have any time to give it the attention it needs. I'll buy another one day.

Flights are booked and I'll be there on Saturday with iPhone and AAA card on hand just in case
Have been out of 928's for 5 long years but excited to get back in the game! It might take me a while to remember that the water pumper is up in the front
