I came upon this BEAUTIFUL midnight blue S4 today on my way home in South Austin, Texas. This car has 58K miles and is a standard, has 928OC plate surround. So clean; this is the nicest 928 Ive ever seen in person besides when I used to visit the dealership when I was a kid. WOW.

The interior is absolutely perfect, the dash is not cracked. The leather is perfect; the dash almost seemed to be blue like the car. The paint was perfect; good grief I almost wrecked when I saw it. It is a standard.

Looking under the car it has all the belly plates but something is leaking; hanging from the belly was an oily yellow/orange liquid that was oily to the touch essentially it looks kinda like coolant but oily like oil/tranny fluid - I dunno. Since its a standard there'd be no tranny cooler to leak so I guess coolant...

It was/is parked at a newly opened VW dealership parking lot. Man what a nice car. Dealership was closed.

 

Montana plate. The leak was likely from the power steering reservior - uses tranny fluid. No big deal to fix. nice looking car.

 

Mine if I find the current owner :-)

There's a new Austin Shark Society guy named Bob with a pretty midnight blue S4, but his car has linen interior. And, of course, a Texas license plate.

 

Ran by the VW dealership today that I saw the car at and learned that the car had overheated- that was coolant I'd seen under the belly- and that the owner had picked it up.

Seriously a very very nice car. I did leave a note on the car to get in touch with me/join local group. Anyhow hopefully the didn't really overheat the car.

Whoever you are I'm jealous.
