Thanks for putting it together. Wish I could have been there earlier to talk to more people and check out more cars. Fun runs in Montgomery County are hard with all of the speed cameras.

These are merely my camera phone pics. We had about 30 cars show up today. More than average and more than the 3 that showed up 6 months ago when we did this (it was lightly drizzling that day). Great mix of people and cars... thanks everyone that came out!
I can only wish this was mine... one of the first cars to show up...
Sweet and unusual ...
Love it
1969, sat in a garage for about 15 years before he got it (if I remember the story correctly)
Corvette engine
Great color and new tires
Unique and beautiful interior
We had about 10-15 993's... here's a black and white
Beautiful in blue
A pair of BMW 2002's showed up. The one gent is looking to buy a 911 SC so he came to check out the cars. These were the highlight of the day for me and others...since I used to have a 2002.
So sweet... always had a soft spot for one of these in showroom condition like this
Super low mileage 993 S
Love this...reminded me of Joseph's Technicolor Dreamcoat
Nice in blue
My workmate and his new car... he got there pretty late after most people left the restaurant. Glad he came! Let the mods begin.

Thanks Steve. The meetup and drive was fun. Hopefully next time I won't have to run so I can make the lunch.
The drive was pretty good aside the several speed cameras we passed by. We ended up not taking the original route. We left Bagel City in a pretty big group but that got cut to only 5 cars after an ill-timed red light that I managed to slip by while it was yellow (thank goodness for kickdown). The two BMWs were leading but they ended up giving us the slip on a stop-to-turn somewhere.
I just followed the white 911 in front of me while checking the directions at the same time which I stopped using after the turns we were starting to make weren't on there but the road we were taking was pretty damn nice anyways. It was just us three, two 911s and my 928 in the middle which then grew by 9 cars towards the end after a pack suddenly came out of nowhere and hooked onto us. Still got to Clyde's with most of the group. Might have lost some on the highway exit.

I threw my emergency lights on to warn the ones behind me when we passed one of those portable mailbox-type cameras. The stationary light pole ones are easy to spot from afar but the portables can be tricky.
The ones in my area, they started hiding them behind trees and lamp posts or putting them beside electrical junction boxes so you confuse the two. They even painted them darker colors so they blend into the shadows and are much harder to detect at night (since they'll move them up and down the street).
Maybe next time we can get a route that will allow our Porsches to stretch their legs a bit. Though I still love the twisties in the back roads especially with such a beautiful Fall foreground.

I had to break off and head north on 270 when you guys headed for Tower Oaks.
I live in Damascus, in the tip of Mont. Co. When I want to drive any of my cars "spiritedly" I head north and west into Frederick and Carroll Counties. Less traffic, winding/hilly roads, and they don't do the speed cameras...
