Question 1980 928 stalls when you give it gas

So a couple days ago my 1980 started acting up. It fires right up, idles nicely, you can rev it and what not. After it idles for about 10 minutes if that, you go to give it gas and the engine just stalls, it kinda stutters a little bit then stalls. I replaced the ignition coil because I thought it might have a hot short but that did not solve the problem. If you try to start it once it dies it does not even seem to fire. I poured a little bit of gas in the intake to see if it was not getting fuel and it still did not fire at all. If you let it sit for several hours itll fire right back up and do the same thing over again. Sometimes it happens faster than 10 minutes. Im thinking it has to be something electronic. It is an automatic by the way. Thanks

Happened to me a while back with exact same symptoms. It turned out to be disconnected/loose vacuum tubes. So check those as well.
