Default WTB: Well maintained 32V 928

I'm looking for a 32V 928, details below. I've seen a few, but even without knowing the 928 well, there were too many issues with all of them. This site seems like the ideal place to find a cared for example. So, my wish list is:
Virtually any colour except white
Good paintwork (original or a good respray)
All VIN stickers present and correct
No accident history or damage
Black interior preferred (dark dash at least)
Not burgundy
Must be in good condition - no rips, tears or cracks
Auto or manual
Prefer 1990+, but will consider earlier (32V only)
Now fixed on 1990+, including GTS. I'd prefer a good S4, as the premium on a GTS seems excessive to me, but, if it's a good one, I'll listen.
Prefer unmodified
Engine intake and cats must be OEM (California ..)
Good maintenance history
Recent (< 2 years) cambelt(+) preferred
Nothing needed for a while
Preferably under 80k miles, but will consider more with documented maintenance
May travel after PPI, car / price dependent
Ample cash available now for the right car
I'm in the San Francisco Bay area, but will consider cars across the US.

Thanks,

Roger

Come to sharktoberfest in Anehiem on the 3rd weekend of October. You will see many 928's and meet a whole lot of people who are very well versed on the cars. It is held at one of the vendors you will be getting to know if you buy a 928.

I've not managed to find anything on that subject. However, I figure that I ought to support this forum, so I have now joined.

There is a pretty nice looking 86 (maybe 86.5--vin ends with 1507) just listed on eBay in a no reserve auction. It is red with a tan and brown interior. Its automatic and around 67k miles as I recall; and it is in VA, so about one to two thousand dollars away from you, depending on how you might transport it or drive it home.

Good on ya! Great attitude. Welcome.

Patience and six months following this forum will see you knowledgeable about and happy with a great car. Haste might leave you less of both.

Welcome.

This looks like a nice example S4 auto in SoCal that meets most of your criteria. If you like blue, this looks like a cool shade. Also, the ad states that work was performed by Precision Motorwerks, which would be a good bet.

No affiliation.

I flew down to see that one two weeks ago (yes, I'm that smitten). If it had have been anything like described, I would have bought it on the spot. I have 2 pages of defects noted, including a poor respray (no VIN stickers, no photos of the accident damage, no receipt to show what was replaced). The seller is fixated on getting his full asking price, so not for me.

There's a well sorted 928 for sale by "adamant" in Canada.

Thanks for the heads-up. I did see that a while ago, but it's white, which isn't to my taste.
