Your car is set up nicely from what I've seen and you do your own car preparation with your Brother.
More important, you're an awesome guy.

You know I'm in! I've had the pleasure of becoming friends with cool-cat Pablo. This dude writes in his sleep and has an amazing writing style!
I laugh and am truly entertained when I read his stories! And for those of you who read alot of P-car gear... when was the last time that happened?
His passion for writing and Porsche is as strong as anyone I know! He will be an excellent editor and publisher for flussig. Godspeed broseppy!

The other cool thing here is that others from other countries I hope,
will also want to participate in the stories and ideas .
These are just a few thoughts that come to mind
Granted the USA has a big collection of owners,
but there has to be outliers that also have terrific potential to teach others what they know.
I can think of a few more ideas about some of the posters here in the USA.
For example, Greg Brown with his engine work and the transmission cache, Tim and Cheryl Dey with the Beast over 200MPH! The ORR group will all have interesting ideas to share.
The racers Mark Kibort our resident Gladiator, Mark Anderson, and many other racers will have tales to tell.
All of the owners that are thinking outside of the purist box that are updating their cars and finding new ways to express their ideas though their modifications
Other tech contributors Bill Ball , Alan, Wally , John, and many others, the creative guys that are making new engine components, intakes and cranks and injections systems work.
We should also have a section for our great vendors and how well we are supported , this could get interesting as other model lines will also be integrated and we may find new ways of using our talents with other water cooled cars.
928/ 924/944/951 owners will become more aware of the features of other model lines and vice versa
I think the electric transfer of the Flussig mag would be great idea to keep down costs.
I hope this idea really gets going, and no telling where it will take us!
Thanks for putting this together Pablo

Great idea, and great input. There are so many things of interest surrounding these cars - racing, DE, autocross, restorations, concours, survivors, preservation, rare/special variants, history, mechanical mods, appearance mods, maintenance, tech resources, events, community, etc. It seems that there is an endless amount of subject matter, and many folks who have a hand in certain areas.
Search Cortina here for one of my favorite adaptations of a 928 for competition. I would love to see an article about his experiences prepping for and running various types of road rallying.
I would also like to learn more about our other front engine/liquid cooled cousins, and this magazine sounds like the ticket.
Let us know how we, as a community, can help make it happen.

Pablo, I have thought about your request to help, and don't want to leave you hanging my friend.
I could do a Restoration Profile on the water cooled Porkas people are preserving and customizing. PM me regarding my expense account.

RE: Name-
How about "WaterFront(s)" or "on the WaterFront(s)"?
Kind of says it all, plus the Classic Movie kind of reflects our cars' story- "could have been a contender".

Pablo,
great to see somebody finally making a magazine for my coffee table, garage, passenger door cubby, etc.
from the 944/968 side, hope to see some of our fine characters like; Van, Raj, Jeff968 (968 Registry), Josh/Rogue Ant, Chris White, (Lart), Tony G., etc. find time to contribute an article or two from their huge knowledge bases...
and i'm sure your mag will encourage more people to keep their projects going and stay in.
looking forward to reading/subscribing.

I think this is a great idea Pablo. I will be happy to subscribe/support/ and help in any way. I love old-fashioned magazines but understand the high cost of production. An E-zine would be better than nothing! Good stuff.

I can write, but I don't have much to write about. About all I do with my P-Cars is drive them.
However, I will happily edit for you. I've done a fair amount of it for a web magazine in the past.
Edit: I've also done interviews from time-to-time. So, I'm up for that if you can think of anyone in my area who needs interviewed!

If you don't mind a contribution in Dutch English, then I have several repair stories to tell from a 'noob' perspective. And I can share the Autobahn experience (see avatar).
Good initiavtive!
